Greetings, Air.

What phone would you recommend?

I’m looking at getting a new phone.

The features I want it to have are:

  • Buttons
  • A text message system that displays texts like a conversation.
  • Able to read PDF’s.
  • Sturdy
  • Reasonable battery life
  • Good internet capabilities
  • Easy for social networking.

I still don’t like touchscreens - I like to have buttons. But I have no idea where to turn. Preferences for phone make would be Sony Ericsson or Nokia, but that’s not as important.

Any suggestions? But I don’t like iPhones. So I’m basically looking for a phone that has iPhone-y features, but that isn’t a touch screen. Hmmmm.

E-books?

Yay or neigh?

I personally can’t see the appeal of reading a book off a screen. I like having a book printed on paper.

But apparently with the newer screens on the Kindle, it’s like reading it off paper as the screen isn’t backlit.

It almost seems like taking a step back into the past, to the age of the old gameboys which weren’t backlit and you had to have good light to play them.

Has anyone got an e-book reader? Are they worth it? And what’s the best one?

On another note…

I really need to update my blog layout sometime, especially now that pages exist and I haven’t even looked into them yet.

*hunting for ideas*

What do you think is the best feature of your blogs layout, and why (photo replies are enabled ^_^)?

Handcuffs?

If you saw me in the back of a police car wearing handcuffs, what would you think I’d been arrested for? (Answers below)

If we spent the day together…

What would we do?

Reblog this and see what others reply with ^_^

What am I doing wrong/right?

I am gaining followers only at a slightly higher rate than I’m losing them.

So, I have a question for you all.

What do you like and dislike about my blog guys? ^_^

I hope you’re all good anyway :D

Posts on Tumblr?

Which post has the most notes attached to it?

Questions, questions.

Help, my Followers?

Which category would you place my blog in, within the Directory on Tumblr?

Languages and Dialects

Who or what originally broke the barriers between different languages and dialects?

What’s in a note?

Between the lines, is much more.
Much more than should ever be taken at face value.
Through this, one can tell the absolute truth in so few words, yet few will ever be none the wiser. It is this that allows most to live in a variety of ‘peace’, up until true meaning is discovered.
However, sometimes a piece of writing, a speech, a poem, a song, is just that. And never anything more.
It doesn’t take much to write.
But to be able to write creatively in a code that only you will ever fully understand, to the end of your days, that takes talent.
Even more so if you can read everything like one will read the very hungry caterpillar.
But, you will never know if there is any more than a caterpillar eating, or if it’s spelling out a diary of a life that first appears unlinked, or even the meaning of life.
It is this we will quite possibly never know.
However, if every human knew, there would probably be far less of a willingness to create. And one day, not realising the true meaning of anything and nothing as it ever is or was, it could well be the death of us all.
Over and out.

Feeling lonely at Uni?

And aren’t socialising as much as you want to be, either because you’re too shy or just don’t want to have to go to the pub just to socialise?

Why not try the following?

  1. Host a film night (especially if you have popular films that people haven’t seen)
  2. Have take-away themed nights (e.g. pizza)
  3. Host a board game night
  4. Have people over to play cards (cards are cheap!)
  5. Toga party
  6. Video games tournament
  7. Have an Anime night
  8. Ask people if they want to go to the cinema
  9. Go to the arcades
  10. Go shopping
  11. Join clubs and societies
  12. Meet with others in your class to do work, have a study night/group visit to the library
  13. Play manhunt
  14. Play sardines (one person goes off and hides, everyone else tries to find them, when they do they have to get in the hiding space with them) - Extremely sociable
  15. Have people over for dinner, make something cheap and easy like pasta bake.

(Just spurned from a conversation with someone about not finding it that easy to socialise at University, thought it might give the rest of you some ideas as well)

(.2 Also, as I’m going to Uni in October I’m going to be using this too. I might even use some of them sooner).

Have you seen my mind?

It seems to have wandered off somewhere, unaccompanied. And I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
It’s been absent most of the day.
I normally would keep it under lock and key, it’s just obviously got out somewhere. Probably around 10am yesterday morning.
If any of you find it in a useable condition, can you please return it to floating above my head. My head’s normally located somewhere between 1.7m and 1.83m off the ground.
My mind’s good anywhere between there and the clouds. It does get uncomfortable being too low down. It has reverse-vertigo.
I know I know. It has serious problems.
I’ll get it to write down it’s feeling’s if it ever comes back.

Words

How is it that you can feel like you could ramble to the ends of the earth but struggle to even form a few words?

Hey “followers”.

(Although I still think that they only say “followers” instead of “stalkers” so people don’t get scared)

How are you all today?

Feel free to ask me a question here, and I’ll answer it in due course.

Also, suggestions for my theme would be appreciated. I’m going to create my own, and am wondering what designs you all prefer seeing as you are my readers.

If everyone just told their crushes they liked them, I think there would be a lot more love & happiness in the world. So why don’t they? Thoughts?
